Mark
NeJame was born in Orlando, Florida, in 1955. In
1976, he received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida
and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida,
College of Law, in 1980. He was admitted to the Florida Bar the same
year. He
has
been admitted to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida
and to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Florida; to
the Florida Supreme Court and to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh
Circuit. Mark
has also been the lead attorney in many cases in the U.S. District
Court,
Southern District of Florida, as well as in numerous states and districts
throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Although most of his
cases are in Central Florida and throughout the State of Florida,
he has handled
cases in Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, California, New York, Virgin
Islands, New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia. He routinely
practices
in both State and Federal courts.
Mark NeJame has primarily devoted his entire career to the practice of criminal defense. His reputation has been achieved over 25 years representing clients charged with almost every type of criminal offense. A passionate and skilled trial attorney and negotiator, Mark has handled literally thousands of cases in his career to successful conclusions on behalf of his clients. He is a lecturer and speaker and has been a featured speaker for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Association of Black Narcotics Officers and numerous other Law Enforcement Groups. Mark NeJame is the Past President of the Central Florida Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He has been recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys, which acknowledges but a small number of the leading lawyers in the United States. He is also AV rated, the highest possible rating given by Martindale Hubbell, the nation’s leading lawyer rating publication.
