Orlando Personal Injury Attorney
Albert specializes in representing injured clients due to the actions of individuals, companies, schools or government entities. Albert began his carrier as a defense attorney for large insurance carriers. After learning how insurance companies evaluated and defended cases, he took that knowledge and experience to the plaintiff’s side, joining up with a large personal injury firm to represent Floridians hurt by the negligence of others. His philosophy of having close engagement with clients and a desire to provide more personalized service led to the creation of his own personal injury practice in 2014. The full spectrum of Albert’s experience spanning the representation of defendants and plaintiffs, coupled with his philosophy of providing excellent service with open communication was a tremendously successful formula.
Born and raised in Orlando, Albert Yonfa completed his undergraduate studies at Stetson University in Deland earning his degree in Business Management, then attending law school at St. Thomas University in Miami. His wife, Dr. Carolyn Yonfa is also an Orlando native and also takes great pride practicing in Central Florida working to better lives in the community they both love.
Albert has been recognized by his peers for his outstanding work and commitment to the spirit of the legal profession. His knowledge of the law, ethics, and advocacy on behalf of his clients has allowed him to stand out among other attorneys in the field. Albert was selected to Florida’s list of Rising Stars for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. He has been featured in Orlando Style Magazine as part of Orlando’s Legal Elite, recognized as a top-rated attorney practicing in Central Florida.
Albert has earned a reputation as a peacemaker and is, professionally, happiest when standing in front of juries at trial on behalf of his clients. Albert’s passion is helping people in their time of need in any way he can. Legal disputes nearly always involve conflict, but disagreements do not have to add stress and sleepless nights to a client’s life. He believes that when clients, lawyers, and insurance companies work together, good things happen.
