Civil Litigation Attorney
Partner, Steven A. Sepulveres, is a native of New York. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Creighton University, Omaha Nebraska in 1991, he returned to New York City and took a position on Wall Street working for investment banks, including Neuberger and Berman and the United Bank of Switzerland (UBS). As a stockbroker and New York Stock Exchange member, from 2002 to 2008, he executed and transacted an average of eleven million shares of stock daily, so that the fast-paced requirements that are necessary for an Orlando Civil Trial Attorney fit him perfectly.
In 2008, Steven decided to pursue his life-long dream of becoming an attorney and stayed in NYC, attending law school at Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He received his Juris Doctor in 2011 and made the decision to move his family to Florida, passing the Florida Bar in 2011. Steven has been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, United States Tax Court and is a member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association.
Steven quickly began his law career in the civil litigation department of a large law firm and handled several hundred contested matters on behalf of his clients. With his real-world experience and developing skills, he soon set out to how his own law firm, handling a variety of cases on behalf of his grateful clients which included, but were not limited to: contract disputes, foreclosure defense, homeowners association (HOA), bankruptcy (chapters 7 & 13), family law, criminal tax law, and civil claims. During this time, Steven also became a strong and well sought-after HOA attorney representing both homeowners and clients. Have been to countless hearings and dozens of trials, Steven is skilled and experienced in both mediation and litigation practice. He always seeks the best resolution for his clients but is prepared to do combat in trial when necessary.
In 2017, sought a change and was led to another calling by helping survivors of domestic violence, and their children. Steven joined the esteemed team and victim abuse heroes at SafeHouse of Seminole. While at SafeHouse, Steven successfully litigated approximately 1,700 cases of domestic violence, bringing over 400 cases to trial. As a strong woman, children, and family advocate, Steven’s work with a domestic violence shelter also allowed him to grow in all areas of law in which survivors needed assistance, including criminal law, family law, injunction for protection orders, immigration, as well as many other areas. Recognizing the dangers abusers can bring, Steven also became a member of the Seminole County Domestic Violence Task Force and a courageous victim rights attorney and advocate. His commitment to community involvement extended to being a volunteer as a Guardian Ad Litem as well as active involvement in multiple events, bringing awareness to Domestic Violence.
