Layali Salem - Senior Associate Attorney

Attorney Layali Salem was born and raised in Central Florida. She graduated from the University of Central Florida earning a bachelor’s degree in 2010. Ms. Salem attended Florida A&M University, College of Law where she graduated cum laude in the top 15% of her class in 2014.
Ms. Salem is licensed to practice law in both Florida and North Carolina and is admitted into the United States Middle District of Florida. As a law student she interned with the Civil Trial Division of NeJame Law and developed a strong desire to be a litigator. After graduating law school, she went to work with the Department of Children and Families. This allowed her to gain several years of trial experience while also being able to advocate on behalf of the State of Florida for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected, a passion of hers. After acquiring her years of litigation experience, Attorney Salem was welcomed back to NeJame Law as an attorney with the Firm in its Civil and Commercial Trial Division.
Ms. Salem handles a wide range of civil and commercial areas which include contract and commercial disputes, online defamation, real estate litigation, injunctions, and guardianship related matters. As a licensed realtor, Layali Salem is well versed in matters concerning real estate contracts and real estate related conflicts. Additionally, Ms. Salem’s experience also includes shelter hearings, termination of parental rights trials, dependency trials, manifest best interest hearings, permanent guardianships, and injunction hearings. Ms. Salem also speaks fluent Arabic.
Layali Salem enjoys spending time with her family and especially their daughter, Lily. When Ms. Salem is not working, she loves to travel and learn new cultures. She has traveled to several countries, her favorite being Dubai.
Being passionate about children, she has been a regular contributor for humanitarian aid and relief.
