ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Jonathan Justin Speegle was released from the Orange County Jail on Friday afternoon on $50,000 bond. The 28-year-old was let out on bond, then ordered back to jail having his bond revoked without warning, before being released a second time.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry ordered his re-arrest after a grand jury indicted him this week on 2nd degree murder, but a new judge decided that his re-arrest was wrong. As part of his release, Speegle will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device through a private company, Court Programs, Inc.

Speegle is accused of pushing his girlfriend off a balcony at the Marriott World Center on New Years Eve. Prosecutor Ken Lewis told a judge today that they have evidence and a forensic expert who says there was no way Nichole Hammond could have gone over the balcony without help.

Event still, they didn’t think he should have been ordered back to jail without bond. The defense disagrees. Mark NeJame won't say how Speegle's girlfriend fell over the rail - only that it wasn't at the hands of his client.

The State may file paperwork asking that his bond be revoked. For now, Speegle will get to go to work but will have to be monitored by a GPS system.

His next hearing is set for June 2.
